ON THE DAK
To design a fried chicken takeaway unit in Covent Garden.
The client was keen to turn this project around quickly and on a tight budget. The corner site location allowed for sight lines in 3 directions so we focused on maximising the exterior presence of the brand through signage and using yellow to contrast with the colour of the existing glazed brickwork.
The interior layout remains mostly the same apart from added benches to create extra sit-in dining, the addition of a new menu board to disguise plant and duct work and re-cladding the counter front yellow to tie the interior with the exterior.
