The brief for this small space with to create a new, dynamic home for the street food Kimbab, a cult Korean street food dish.
Action
MARI MARI, located in a chic Cul de Sac of the Opera neighbourhood in Paris, offers customers Korean inspired Kimbab.
The small, narrow space was redesigned to maximise service and seating. The colour scheme and materials are warm and inviting.
Layers of lighting and texture are used to create interest and make a focal point of the counter which appears to glow.
Block 1 Design delivered the original concept, drawings and sourcing documents to deliver them project. We worked in conjunction with architects in France and attended site meetings to support the project delivery.
